Discharging firearms and arrows

-We have heard rumors of homeowners wanting to shoot the wild hogs in the subdivision themselves to help get rid of the problem. We DO NOT want any homeowners to take this approach to getting rid of the wild hog population. Unless you are defending yourself or another, please DO NOT discharge a weapon with in the community. The County of Medina can issue a citation and fine you up to $500 for the first offense of discharging a weapon. None of the homeowners at Potranco Ranch own 10 acres or more, so discharging a weapon is illegal. (The Medina County rules in regard to this have links below, one for firearms and one for bows)
